Course Details
|
Hole 1 & 10 Par 4
The fairway is generous, the bunker on the left
will catch the pulled tee balls so the best placement off
the tee is right center. A good drive will leave a short iron
to a large green.
|
|
Hole 2 & 11 Par 3
The tee shots for the different greens cross each other
and provide vastly different shots. Play to the red flag
should favor the left side. Missing the green right is
not an option. Playing to the gold flag, while it is a
shorter shot - has no room for error because of native
grass hazard left.
|
|
Hole 3 & 12 Par 4
Players who can carry the bunker, 250 yards
from the back tees, take the greatest risk. The
most conservative tee shot is down the right
side on this short par 4, which provides a
good angle to both greens.
|
|
|
Hole 4 & 13 Par 4
This is a long par four, requiring two carries.
Anywhere long in the fairway provides an open approach to the greens.
A shot pulled left may end up in the parking lot, which is out of
bounds. The second shot faces a stacked sod bunker between the greens.
For short drives, the second shot to the greens may not be an option
because of the wetlands short of the greens - laying up is the best play.
|
|
Hole 5 & 14 Par 3
The forced carry over water is played to the smallest greens on the course.
The gold flag is protected on the right side by a creek and a bunker.
The best non-precision play is to try to use the mounding and
approaches to move your ball towards the hole.
|
|
Hole 6 & 15 Par 3
Favor the short and left side of the green when playing to the gold flag.
The red flag is surrounded by mounds to catch errant shots on this birdie hole.
|
|
|
Hole 7 & 16 Par 4
This is the tightest fairway (35 yards wide) on the course.
With out of bounds to the left and trees and a creek to the right,
any shot in the fairway is a good one.
Approaches to the gold flag should favor the short side as the back
bunker and the mounding behind can present a difficult recovery.
|
|
Hole 8 & 17 Par 3
Tee shots here cross each other. Playing to the red
flag, do not miss the green right of the mounds or long of the green.
From most everywhere else, a recovery is possible. Playing to the gold
flag, the objective is to use the slope in the middle of the greens
to "feed" the ball on toward the flag.
|
|
Hole 9 & 18 Par 5
The tee shot is to a bi-level fairway. The lay-up for the right green
should favor a shot played just right of the bunker for a
clearer view of the green. The lay-up for the left green
should favor the left side of the pot bunker (the bunker is about 60 yards from
the green) Be careful playing up too far left, as the lake is about 25 yards left
of the bunker. The center mound that separates the double greens may be
used to feed shots onto either green.
